Dinosaur Teeth Necklace
Silver, carnivorous dinosaur fossil teeth (the Cretaceous) and mother of pearl
The challenge was to transform a number of fossilised teeth belonging to a carnivorous dinosaur into a fantasy, Gothic-inspired necklace. To evoke this idea, we created a piece of jewellery where dragons, winged creatures, castles, and rock spurs merge with elements from the world of fairy tales, all cast with great dynamism in burnished silver.
Mother of pearl slivers were introduced to complete this blend of materials, introducing vertical and dreamlike dashes into this enchanted world. Finally, the centre of the necklace features a large disc of mother of pearl, which evokes a rising full moon.
