Fun Fair Necklace

Gilded white-bronze

Cinema was born as a true marvel, and it still often amazes us today. We had seen Woody Allen’s film Wonder Wheel (2017), set in the 1950s at the Coney Island amusement park, where the world’s first funfair was created in 1903. I have always had a strong desire to miniaturise the main elements (including the rides, Ferris wheel, marquees, rollercoasters…) of such an iconic, evocative, and joyful place. After all, a piece of jewellery is often a stylistic synthesis in a disproportionate scale of something that already exists in the real world (natural or man-made).

Therefore, this necklace cast in gilded bronzobianco is a real tribute to the power of fantasy and fun.
